This partnership elevates the Belisha Foundation\u2019s visibility and highlights its commitment to cancer awareness, direct support, and community engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preparations Underway for Belisha Tournament<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Efforts are in full swing for the upcoming <strong>2nd Annual Belisha Tournament<\/strong>, scheduled for <strong>September 6, 2025<\/strong>, at John Champe High School in Aldie, Virginia. The event promises to be more than just a soccer competition, serving as a vibrant community festival with a focus on raising awareness for cancer. Invitations have been extended to two former <strong>Ethiopian national team players<\/strong>, local health professionals, and DMV-based teams, ensuring a diverse and spirited participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Grassroots Sponsorship Drive<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to large-scale partnerships, the Foundation is pursuing grassroots outreach by knocking on doors and meeting with local businesses. This effort is already bearing fruit \u2014 with the Foundation celebrating its <strong>first direct community donation of $100<\/strong> from <strong>Nazareth Market<\/strong>(\u1293\u12dd\u122c\u1275 \u1263\u120d\u1275\u1293) of Herndon, VA today. We thank Nazareth Market for your kind donation. While modest, this milestone marks the beginning of a growing wave of community-driven support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gratitude for the Team<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belisha Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to the <strong>dedicated team members<\/strong> who have been going door to door, spreading awareness, and securing support, as well as those tirelessly organizing the upcoming tournament. Their commitment, energy, and perseverance are the driving force behind these milestones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belisha Foundation will continue mobilizing sponsors, confirming guests, and finalizing logistics for the tournament.
