The Belisha’s Foundation is a dedicated and passionate nonprofit organization committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and the elderly who are in need. At Belisha’s foundation, we believe that a little compassion can transform one’s destiny, and we thrive to ensure that families in need, especially children and the elderly receive the support they deserve.
Our Story
The Belisha Foundation was founded in 2023 in memory of Beletech Molla, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend who left tremendous impact on the lives of countless children and community elders who were in need. We are founded to continue Belisha’s legacy and her belief that every child deserves a bright and hopeful future, and the elderly should be able to enjoy their later years with dignity and joy.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a community where no child mises school due to lack of school supplies, nor goes to school hungry, and to promote the health and wellness of the elderly.
Children’s Well-being: We work diligently to ensure that children in our community have access to three necessities for their growth: food, clothing, and education. We support families to feed their children, provide clothing for those in need, and school supplies to children facing adversity, empowering them to break down barriers and reach to their maximum potentials.
Elderly Care: We believe that our elderly population is a treasure filled with wisdom and experience. We offer companionship to our elderly community so they do not spend their later life unaided, we provide financial assistance for those who need it, and work to implant respect to our elderly in their community so they could receive the dignity and happiness they deserve in their golden years.

Our vision is to create a world where every child thrives and every elderly individual lives with dignity. We are committed to providing unreserved support, and opportunities to children and the elderly, making sure they have access to a brighter, more fulfilling future.
Where We Operate
We operate in the State of Virginia and the greater DMV area in the United States, and in Ethiopia which is the birth nation of Belisha.
