The Belisha Foundation Officially Registered in Ethiopia
The Belisha Foundation is excited to announce its official registration as a nonprofit organization in Ethiopia. This milestone marks a significant step in expanding the foundation’s mission to provide compassionate care and support for individuals and families affected by cancer, particularly through palliative care initiatives.
The foundation, named in memory of Beletech Molla, aims to bridge gaps in cancer care by addressing prevention, screening, treatment, and care in both the U.S. and Ethiopia. The recent registration opens up opportunities for collaboration with local healthcare providers, policymakers, and communities to build sustainable support systems for cancer patients and their families.
The Ethiopia-based team, led by newly appointed board members and supported by the foundation’s leadership in the U.S., will work closely to implement projects that provide life-changing care and resources for those battling cancer. The registration also allows the Belisha Foundation to establish partnerships with local institutions, NGOs, and volunteers to further expand the impact of its work.
As we move forward, the foundation is gearing up to launch several initiatives, including awareness campaigns, community outreach, and direct patient support programs in Ethiopia. The Belisha Foundation remains committed to empowering cancer patients, elderly families, and children affected by cancer, while honoring the legacy of Belisha through compassionate and comprehensive care.
