Belisha Foundation Signs MoU with Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — October 10, 2025
The Belisha Foundation is thrilled to announce the signing of a Project Proposal and Project Agreement (MoU) with the Ministry of Health – Ethiopia for its flagship initiative:
“Cancer Awareness and Support: Integrated Support for Cancer Patients, Vulnerable Children, and the Elderly.”
This three-year partnership marks a major milestone in the Foundation’s commitment to advancing cancer care and community support across Ethiopia.
The project focuses on:
- Raising awareness on cancer prevention and early detection
- Providing medical, nutritional, transportation, and psychosocial support to patients
- Helping children affected by cancer continue their education
- Improving the well-being of elderly individuals impacted by cancer
- Enhancing hospital capacity through ward renovations and staff training
This collaboration reaffirms our mission to ensure that no one faces cancer alone — bringing together compassion, awareness, and sustainable care solutions.
Together, we continue to make a difference — saving lives, restoring dignity, and giving hope to families affected by cancer.
