The Belisha Foundation proudly participated in ESFNA 2026, where we had the opportunity to engage with thousands of attendees, raise cancer awareness, and share our mission of supporting cancer patients and their families in the United States and Ethiopia.
Throughout the event, our dedicated volunteers welcomed visitors to Booth #87, where families learned about our programs, explored ways to support our mission, and participated in activities designed to inspire hope and community involvement.

One of the highlights of the event was our Wall of Honor, where visitors wrote heartfelt messages in honor and memory of loved ones affected by cancer. The Wall of Honor became a powerful symbol of remembrance, encouragement, and solidarity for families facing cancer.
Our team also walked throughout the event distributing educational flyers featuring cancer awareness information, healthy lifestyle recommendations, and details about The Belisha Foundation’s programs and services in both the United States and Ethiopia. These conversations helped educate the community about cancer prevention, early detection, palliative care, and opportunities to get involved.
Visitors also enjoyed family-friendly activities, including face painting for children, while many supported our mission by purchasing Belisha Foundation merchandise and making donations.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the ESFNA organizers for providing nonprofit organizations with the opportunity to connect with the community. We also thank our fellow charitable organizations, whose meaningful work reminded us of the importance of serving together to make a lasting impact.
Most importantly, we thank our volunteers, donors, members, partners, sponsors, and everyone who visited Booth #87. Your encouragement and generosity made our participation a great success.
As we continue expanding our cancer awareness and patient support programs, we invite everyone to join us at our upcoming community events:
- The Belisha Community Festival — September 5, 2026
- Grand African Run — October 10, 2026
Together, we can continue raising awareness, supporting cancer patients and their families, and bringing hope to communities in the United States and Ethiopia.
Thank you for standing with The Belisha Foundation—together, we are making a difference.
