The Belisha Foundation and Inova Life with Cancer Explore Partnership to Support Ethiopian Families

Building a stronger bridge between the Ethiopian community and cancer support resources

The Belisha Foundation recently met with Inova Life with Cancer to explore opportunities for collaboration and partnership to better support Ethiopian cancer patients and their families.

The meeting focused on connecting members of the Ethiopian community with valuable cancer support resources, including educational programs, classes, support groups, and services available through Life with Cancer.

As part of this collaboration, Inova Life with Cancer shared informational materials, including an Amharic-language overview, to help Ethiopian patients and families better understand and access available support.

The Belisha Foundation will help share Life with Cancer programs and resources with the Ethiopian community through its communication channels and community activities. Inova Life with Cancer has offered to help promote Belisha Foundation events through its community communications, creating an opportunity to reach and serve more families.

The two organizations also discussed opportunities to collaborate on future cancer-awareness, education, and community events.

This partnership is an important step toward connecting Ethiopian families affected by cancer with trusted resources and support close to their community.
