The Belisha Foundation Sponsors HYSA Youth Soccer Tournament to Promote Cancer Awareness and Community Engagement

Aldie, VA — July 18, 2025 — The Belisha Foundation is proud to sponsor the upcoming Habesha Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) Tournament, taking place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at HAL & BERNI Park, 22831 Hanson Park Dr, Aldie, VA 20105. This vibrant event brings together local Habesha youth teams and families for a day of spirited competition, cultural pride, and community impact.

As part of its sponsorship, The Belisha Foundation engaged the community during HYSA’s final practice session on Thursday, where it hosted a booth offering cancer awareness materials and information about the upcoming 7th Grand Africa Run, scheduled for October 11, 2025, in Alexandria, VA.

The Grand Africa Run serves as a flagship fundraising event to support cancer awareness and assistance programs. To support this effort, 25% of ticket sales purchased through The Belisha Foundation’s unique link will directly benefit the foundation’s cancer initiatives.

Participants who register through the foundation’s link will also receive a 5% discount and be entered into a raffle to win a brand-new Toyota Corolla — making it both a meaningful and exciting way to give back.
