Addis Ababa — The Belisha Foundation was honored to host a meaningful lunch with the Tsinat Cancer Support Group, bringing together individuals in a supportive environment centered on strength, hope, and shared experiences in the fight against cancer.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Ewnet Gebrehanna from St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, whose participation underscored the importance of strong collaboration between healthcare institutions and community organizations in supporting patients and their families.




The gathering was led by The Belisha Foundation team, under the leadership of Board Chair Dr. Mulaltu Mebrate and Program Director & Coordinator Dr. Yordanos Bahiru, who played a key role in organizing this impactful initiative.
During the program, a representative from the Tsinat Cancer Support Group delivered a heartfelt message, sharing the realities of the cancer journey and the courage it takes to continue the fight. Her words deeply reflected the Foundation’s motto, “Where care and hope meet.” She also expressed sincere gratitude for the visit, meaningful discussion, and the lunch, while sharing hope for continued support from the Foundation for their group and others facing similar challenges.
This gathering marks a significant step forward in strengthening the partnership between The Belisha Foundation and the Cancer Center at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College. Together, they remain committed to expanding care, raising awareness, and providing ongoing support to individuals and families affected by cancer.
