Updates from the USA Team:

Executive Team Meetings: Our USA executive team has been diligently working on advancing our six-month project plans. These initiatives are crucial for expanding our outreach and impact within local communities, focusing on supporting cancer patients and their families with resources, support, and hope.

Ethiopia Team Activities:

Onboarding of the General Manager: We are thrilled to welcome our new General Manager, Tefera Tesfaye, who has joined the Ethiopia team. Their expertise and leadership are expected to significantly propel our projects and initiatives on the ground.

Additional Board Members: The foundation has strengthened its governance by onboarding additional board members. Their diverse experiences and dedication will undoubtedly enrich our strategic direction and implementation capabilities.

Registration Progress: We have successfully submitted the necessary paperwork for the official registration of The Belisha Foundation in Ethiopia. This milestone is a significant step towards establishing a solid operational base to support our mission.

Project Proposals and Assessments: Our team is actively working on proposal preparation and conducting assessments to identify the most pressing needs of cancer patients in Ethiopia. These efforts are aimed at tailoring our projects to have the most substantial impact.

Office Setup: The search for a suitable office space is underway, reflecting our commitment to establishing a permanent presence in Ethiopia. This will serve as a hub for our operations and collaborations.
