𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗗𝗲𝗰. 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – The Belisha Foundation held its highly anticipated 2nd Annual Meeting, bringing together supporters, partners, and community members for an inspiring evening dedicated to advancing cancer awareness and support for patients and their families.

The event, themed “𝗔 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,” showcased the Foundation’s remarkable achievements over the past year and laid out ambitious plans for the future. Guests enjoyed a well-organized program that included engaging presentations, impactful discussions, and networking opportunities, all accompanied by a delightful vegan dinner.

𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Abebe Mebrate shared key milestones, financial updates, and the impact of the Foundation’s initiatives, demonstrating the power of collective effort.

𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Dr. Beeletsega Yeneneh, Board Chairperson, emphasized the need for continued community involvement to expand the Foundation’s reach and impact.

𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈:A partnership with Nova Connections was formalized, with remarks by Dr. Gashaw Abeza inspiring attendees to embrace vision-driven growth.

𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔: A compelling documentary and project discussion by Feseha Tesema highlighted the challenges cancer patients face in Ethiopia, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to innovative solutions.

𝘾𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙨: Like Ma’emiran Haileliul Seyoum, Board Vice Chairperson, reflected on his 25 years of public service in similar environments. He shared invaluable experiences, offering practical insights and a compelling call to action for continued collective efforts to address the challenges faced by cancer patients and their families.
